Yellow Room This is an original song by Canadian Artist Cory Cruise. The video has footage shot traveling across the United States, and up to British Columbia Canada. Cory moved to Vancouver Island for a short period with the soul purpose of song writing . Being 3000 miles away from his home town St. Catharines, Ontario, this is one of the many songs that were written there. He resided in a huge 150 year old 3 storey building, over looking the main strip in Nanaimo, that most would say should have been leveled, or at least condemed . "Yeah, that's true for sure, but the building seemed to speak to me and hold something epic and special, I liked that it was creepy as hell, it was like having my own haunted house like they have on Clifton Hill in Niagara Falls Ontario haha". This building he went on to say is known to be the oldest standing building in Nanaimo BC and had been vacant for 20 years. With old creeky cedar floors, walls and ceilings, and looks right out of a horror film, he did some light reno's and decor, in order to call it " home base " . He went on to say "Being a huge fan of french fries and being a night hawk, it was so awesome having an AW across the street that had a 24 hr walk thru with a door bell haha". As well, he went on to add "The Queen's Pub was across the street and it had live music seven days a week, " The location was perfect for me, The serenity of the Island just felt right" Cory played many shows at various places all over Nanaimo B.C. When I asked about the rumoures of yellow room to have been written about which one of the venues he often frequented, the energetic fun filled character that Cory is... would only answer me back with a smirk wrapped in a huge grin while rubbing his hands together everytime I asked him.
